My name is Oscar Gonzalez and a veteran journalist, podcaster and social media expert living in New York City.
I dipped my toe into journalism on July 3, 2008, when I created my own video game website, OriginalGamer.com. Over the years, the site grew and broke the top 100k on Alexa.com. The site had video game reviews, editorials, news, interviews and The Original Gamer Podcast. Along with games, the site covered various tech news over the years.
Since then I was Editor-in-Chief of the student publication for Texas A&M University-San Antonio, The Mesquite. After I graduated with a bachelor degree in communication, I moved to New York to work on a master’s degree at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
